Washoe County Regional Animal Services Enrichment Dog Yard

Washoe County Regional Animal Services sought to create a dedicated outdoor enrichment space where shelter dogs could exercise, play, and interact in a safe and comfortable environment. The facility needed a surface capable of handling daily use from numerous animals while remaining clean, durable, and easy to maintain.

ForeverLawn Las Vegas designed and installed more than 3,500 square feet of K9Grass Elite as part of a new ground-up enrichment dog yard. The pet-specific turf system was selected for its durability, drainage performance, and ability to provide a clean, comfortable surface for shelter animals. The expanded yard was designed to support exercise, enrichment activities, and improved quality of life for dogs awaiting adoption.

The completed enrichment yard provides Washoe County Regional Animal Services with a spacious, purpose-built outdoor environment that supports animal welfare and daily operations. Dogs now have access to a clean, durable area for exercise and enrichment, while facility staff benefit from a surface designed to perform under the demands of a high-traffic animal care environment.
