Multilayered Turf Backing for Singular Performance
ForeverLawn’s premium turf backing delivers strength, stability, and long-term performance from the ground up. Our durable, innovative backing is built in three layers that protect against everyday wear and tear and environmental exposure while improving comfort and performance. The unique construction of our turf backing reduces the amount of infill required and resists shifting, extending the product’s lifespan and providing a realistic-looking turf solution with lasting value.
Inside Our Advanced Turf Technology
1. Building a Foundation: ForeverLawn’s backing begins by tufting blades into a dual-layer woven material, then applying a polyurethane scrape coat to lock fibers in place.
Many companies stop here, but this is just the first step in the construction of our durable artificial grass.
2. Protective Turf Technology Layer: Layer two enhances the turf backing by applying a frothed urethane that fully encapsulates each blade stitch, protecting against abrasion from stone and other environmental elements and ensuring the integrity of the blades for the lifespan of the project. This additional protection also provides cushioning for a more natural feel underfoot.
With this added dimensional stability, ForeverLawn’s turf solutions require far less infill and resist shifting, contracting, and expanding
3. Sustainable Stability and Grip: The final layer completes the turf backing with a geotextile nonwoven laminate made of recycled water bottles. This advanced turf technology protects the underlying layers from the elements, with drainage holes to prevent mold and mildew.
