Navajo Nation Sports Complex

This Navajo Nation Sports Complex consists of three fields—a big league field, a little league field, and a softball field. Each of these three fields are available for community use but are also utilized by the local school systems. Our client chose ForeverLawn® as their turf vendor because of a history of success working with us, as well as the quality and technological advancements of our products. Because the complex is in a fairly remote location, it was of the utmost importance that the client chose a reliable product that would stay durable and in good condition so that frequent repairs wouldn’t be necessary. The ForeverLawn Southwest team installed nearly 220,000 square feet of SportsGrass^® Edge XP for the three fields. This product was chosen because it’s perfect for baseball—it has extremely durable blades, a 1.75” pile height, and a reduced amount of infill. It’s hard to field a ground ball when there’s rubber and sand spraying everywhere, which happens often in fields that are over-filled with infill. Our product is a much safer alternative for the community’s baseball and softball players!
