Project Overview
The project team sought a high-quality synthetic turf solution that would seamlessly integrate into the overall park design while enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. The event lawn needed to provide a clean, attractive gathering space capable of accommodating community events, recreation, and daily use throughout the year. Additionally, the playground berms required a durable surfacing solution that could conform to the custom landforms while maintaining a natural appearance and providing long-term performance. The landscape architect placed a strong emphasis on design continuity, ensuring the turf products complemented the surrounding landscape and contributed to the park’s overall vision. The goal was to create visually appealing, low-maintenance spaces that would remain attractive and functional despite heavy public use and varying weather conditions.
ForeverLawn Houston worked closely with the landscape architect throughout the project to ensure the turf systems aligned with the overall design intent and performance requirements of the park. By collaborating early in the process, the team was able to recommend products and installation methods that supported both the aesthetic vision and long-term functionality of the space. For the event lawn, ForeverLawn Houston installed a premium landscape turf system that provides a consistently green, attractive appearance while accommodating year-round use and reducing ongoing maintenance requirements. For the playground berms, the team carefully installed turf over the custom landforms, creating a durable and visually cohesive surface that integrated seamlessly with the surrounding playground environment.
The result was a customized solution that balanced design, durability, and usability, helping bring the landscape architect’s vision to life while providing the owner with a long-lasting, low-maintenance park amenity.
The completed project delivered a visually striking park space that successfully combined aesthetics, functionality, and durability. The event lawn provides an inviting gathering area for community events, recreation, and everyday use, while maintaining a consistently attractive appearance throughout the year. The playground berms became a unique feature within the play environment, blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape and enhancing the overall character of the park. By incorporating premium ForeverLawn turf systems, the project achieved the landscape architect’s design vision while reducing maintenance requirements and improving long-term performance.
Today, Grange Park serves as a vibrant community destination, offering residents a beautiful, durable, and highly usable outdoor space that will continue to perform for years to come.
