41. A Guy Named Stan

Do you view increased responsibility as a blessing or a burden?

The theme of manufacturing issues continues into this episode. Hopeful and anxious to eliminate product issues once and for all, Brain and Dale take a trip to the plant in Dalton, Georgia to see their products being made. After continuous back and forth, they eventually make the decision to cut ties with their supplier.

The hopeful search begins once again to find a reliable manufacturer to produce high quality products. This time, however, the responsibility to find a quality product in a timely manner didn’t just impact them, it impacted the network of ForeverLawn dealers they had been building up.

These high stakes could be looked at as a huge burden to the two, or a huge blessing. Brian and Dale chose the latter knowing what an incredible opportunity they have been granted with their growing business.

This episode emphasizes the common theme along their journey that difficult times often create opportunity. Sometimes the worst thing that can happen to you is actually the best thing that can happen to you. It’s all about perspective. Every obstacle and difficulty you walk through leaves you the choice to view it as a blessing or a burden and that has everything to do with your success in those moments.
